Alexa is in the blue pants. She was the first person I met on the plane here. I took her class tonight and had the best time. Her energy is so uplifting. She always is dropping the most surprising gems of wisdom. I wish I lived in Edmonton so I could take her classes in the future.

My three roommates all in camel.

Lani, who teaches yoga here and plans the holistic health programy stuff, dropped into a class. Her extension is insane.

Yoga is magic.

Yoga is magic.

I only took one class today because of my wrist, but it was the best class. It was Doug’s class. I met Doug my first night in Managua - we had dinner together. I remember asking him why he was going to YTT and he told me his teacher said he’d be a good teacher. (He knew Meghan from when she used to teach in Vancouver). The way he said that though, I could tell he wasn’t convinced. After his class tonight, I told him that he better feel convinced and confident in his capabilities. He had us all, literally, rolling on the floor laughing, playing like kids and still doing yoga.

I feel like in am just getting to know all these people by taking their classes and we are leaving in four days. Everyone here is just so amazing and special. 28 days is not enough time to get to know everyone. I have learned something from every single person here. I have learned more from so many people in such a short period of time than I have ever in my life. I have cried the most in the last 23 days than I have in any other 23 days. And I just laughed more in the past hour yoga class than I have in any past hours in my entire adult life.

I learned a lot of great techniques in Doug’s class tonight and I can’t wait to share them!!

I’m a true jungle woman now. I hurt my wrist - Meghan thinks I was dumping into it during downward dog - so she wrapped it in noni leaves to relieve the pain.
